  • What happened to the old theologyweb?

Hello everyone! Sometime last year I came to the site and it was down. Now none of our old posts are up and it appears as if this site is still a work in progress. What happened? Anyway it is good to be back on this great site.

Welcome back, onefour1! To the extent that I remember it (which isn't much), the hard drive went the way of all flesh (all tech?) and killed off all of the data. We're newly trying to rebuild, drawing on what was preserved in the Wayback Machine from the Internet Archive. Pretty decent progress in a relatively short period of time now, actually, so I'm feeling fairly confident.

The server died a terrible and horrible death.

        No point in mincing words.

a user compares a hard drive dying to the way all our flesh will be when we are gone.

I find that evolution is the best proof of God.

              Jaltus broke it.
"The man from the yacht thought he was the first to find England; I thought I was the first to find Europe. I did try to found a heresy of my own; and when I had put the last touches to it, I discovered that it was orthodoxy."
