The other day my wife had me watch a video that was, quite frankly, shocking. My brother recently died from cancer that came on him quickly and spread throughout his organs. This has led me to wonder why there is so much cancer in the world now and how my brother would have gotten this. My mother was devastated by his passing. I still am troubled by it. Evidently, according to the video, when they were vaccinating us when we were little kids, the polio vaccine was made using monkeys and the monkey viruses were spread along with the vaccine. This caused cancer according to Mr Tent. Perhaps our government has been hiding a big secret that has killed and made millions of us sick. Check out the video and let me know what you think about it. It is The Exploding Autoimmune Epidemic - Dr. Tent - It's not autoimmune, you have viruses

Dr. Tent is a chiropractor with a PhD in Clinical Nutrition. I don't know how creditable anything he says is.

Edited to add: can't comment much on the video because it had no summary or subtitle for me follow. Sorry.

I remember onefour1 and can vouch that he's no spambot but actually a quite good guy and valuable contributor.

Yup, onefour1 usually posted in Mormonism section though, at least from what I remember.

Well, I got my polio vaccine as an injection about 60 years ago. That cancer has not showed up yet. If I get cancer at this age I won't blame my polio vaccine.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

I thought that cancer rates go up because other potentially fatal diseases are more treatable and something is going to kill you eventually.

There is a 2004 article in The Lancet called monkeys, viruses and vaccines.
                      http://www.thelancet.com/journals/la...746-9/fulltext
                      It ends with this:
“For credible epidemiological studies confirming whether SV40 from polio vaccines has caused human cancers, we may have to wait until a new generation (of researchers) is put in charge of the USA's health research bureaucracy.”
“I think God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability.” ― Oscar Wilde
“And if there were a God, I think it very unlikely that He would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence” ― Bertrand Russell
“not all there” - you know who you are

I think my primary problem with blaming a specific agent for causing cancer unless said agent has a credible and clear link; such as the clear 20 percent of all smokers who end up with lung cancer or the high number of coal miners who get cancers and black lung disease, or the study of the high rate of birth defects of children born to mothers exposed to specific compounds etc..., ict can not be stressed enough that if we look at cancer populations currently and attempt to isolate one specific cause undoubtedly we could in theory isolate multiple things we think caused the cancer and theoretically decide that everything we ate caused cancer. Realistically I found a study linking vitamin -c and the growth of cancer cells in petri- dishes several years ago. Saccharin the artificial sweetener must be fed to rats over a period of 12 months (half the life span) and the must eat 1/2 their body weight per day for it to cause a cancerous tumor. A second study of Aspartame in rats found that to cause cancer a rat must consume the equivalent of between 853 and 2,000 cans of diet soda in aspartame to produce brain tumors. Inhalation of table salt is carcinogenicor deadly at lower levels to rats and humans. My point is that everything we take in, including water, may become toxic, carcinogenic, or deadly if the level we take in is over the required or necessary amount. Every single one of us has cells in our body, and all of us have cells that may become cancerous, if the genetics and triggers are right for it. In reality we know very little about what turns the genetics on. Cancer has been around since man has and I doubt we will have very many answers any time soon
