View Full Version : What is "IT"

graceinme

Have you ever noticed some people just have "IT"? What is "IT"? "IT" has nothing to do with looks. All I know is that when some one has "IT" they are irresistble.

Some examples of "IT" Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderes, Johnny Depp, Sean Connery, Harrison Ford. There are women too, but I am focusing on the important people first.:teeth: Mel Gibson, Elvis, Yxboom, and many others..........

My personal favorite from Hollywood

Brad Pitt is a girlie-man.

themuzicman
September 10th 2003, 10:38 AM
Well, I know for men "IT" has to do with body proportions and bone structure.

A 7:10 ratio of waist to hips is generally considered perfect. High cheek bones are considered prettier. Obviously good sized breasts matter, as does a long, athletic bone structure, thus the idea of a "breast man" or a "leg man". However, if you study beauty in art, you find these things are common. (Yes, 36-24-36 is about 7:10, and most models in smut magazines are right about on that 7:10 ratio, too, according to the same studies.)

I don't know what you women see in men.

Michael

Example: Angelia Jolie

Boy did this thread go astray!

I am talking about that aura thing that some people have and others don't. And I do not think that proportion size makes it for a woman. Yes, if they are proportioned just right it makes for an even better "IT", but there are a lot of perfectly proportioned women out there who don't have "IT", like Anna Nichole Smith. There are also women who don't have perfect bodies who do have "IT". Julia Roberts does not have a perfect body, but has "IT", Drew Barrymore also bad body but has "IT".

So lets try again.

Oh, and Brad Pitt is not girlie, he has "IT"!

It's clearly time for one of my favorite quotes:

"There is nothing sexier than a strong Christian woman."
-- Gavin (no, not the Gavin at TWeb, different Gavin).

themuzicman
September 10th 2003, 01:14 PM
I said that's a DIFFERENT 'IT'. That's the 'IT' men can't quite figure out...

Like 'Why do women change their minds all the time?' A: Women's perogative.

And 'Why do women know when you're lying to them?' A: Women's intuition.

And 'Why do we put up with IT?' A: Because they're WOMEN.

That has nothing to do with the 'IT' you started the thread with (Except maybe the 'because they're women' part.)

Jade
September 10th 2003, 02:04 PM

Um, perhaps the "IT" that GraceInMe is refering to is charisma and knowing how to carry yourself.

and yes I know what you mean about some people having IT
you see some trashy looking guy with a beautiful girl or vice versa and you wonder sometimes why would they be together, but once you meet the person you think yep they have IT :teeth:
I think it has to do with personality and a persons body language. The People who have IT just have to talk to you and you don't want them to go... its like a magnet... and they don't even have to be good lookin.
how do you get IT?
