I came across a great commentary during the Seminary class I'm taking right now on Revelation and thought I would share.
The New International Commentary on the New Testament: The Book of Revelation
By Robert H. Mounce
Mounce is an Historic Premillenial but gives a thorough treatment of all views throughout.
The first 35 pages deal with the the difference between Revelation and "apocalyptic" literature, the authorship, its acceptance, differing methods interpretation, dates, language, and structure.
Lots of footnotes and references to other authors including FF Bruce, IT Beckwith, RH Charles, etc. in which he contrasts the views and presents the pros and cons of them on the above subjects.
