Check out the Ekklesia Project (http://www.ekklesiaproject.org/). It's a network of like-minded Christians that might loosely be termed "emergent."

The ONLY thing close to Emergent I can in good conscience recommend to anyone would be Mars Hill Church and its pastor, Mark Driscoll. It's edgy and engages culture enough to be considered by some to be Emergent-Lite, but the church actually adheres to orthodox theology. Anything else, stay away! Especially from Brian McLaren or Rob Bell.

:thumb: I've also heard good things about Mark Driscoll.

I'd also be leery of anything by Erwin McManus.

Never heard of 'im.

Who names their kid Erwin, anyway? That's just cruel!

But yeah, I subscribe to an iTunes podcast for Mark's sermons and special lectures. He's dynamically orthodox.

What's even more weird...he named himself Erwin!! His real name is Raphael Sandoval Meza Cardona (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erwin_mcmanus). I'm surprised you haven't heard of him, as he's one of the biggest names in the Postmodern movement. My college BSU leaders were profoundly impacted by his ministries and attended several of his conferences. The result was a watered down gospel message with lots of culturally relevant theatrics.
