I have heard that the Russian government does not allow any new religious groups into the country unless they have the approval of the Russian government and the Russian Orthodox Church. I have heard that they also tried to ban the Salvation Army from operating in the Soviet Union. This to me along with Putin's rigging of the Constitution of Russia foretells of the Russian invasion into Israel which is mentioned in Ezekiel 38! I believe these happenings portend that the Russian invasion into Israel will happen very soon!

the Orthodox Church is a Christian Church. That they have the ear of the government shouldn't be a negative after so many years of being oppressed, infiltrated, and hunted. God bless 'em. After decades of not being able to freely express their Christianity, what's the first thing Christians from around the world do? Send aid to the Orthodox Churches? Help them rebuild cathedrals burned by the Communists? Aid the families of priests who were slain, imprisoned, or otherwise oppressed? No, the West rushes in with expectations to 'save' the lot of them - Orthodox included.

The Christ;ians in Russia appreciate the help they are getting from the West! The Russian Orthodox Church should also not seek to persecute their brethren and sisters in Jesus Christ!
