View Full Version : JardinPrayer's Smilie Plea!

I know some of you out there are smilie gurus. It's time Jardin Prayer had her own. Would one of you be willing to step up and offer to make it for me? I've got money.

I notice you only say you have money, not that you intend giving anyone any!
Anyway, here's a smiley ....

Oh! You wanted one of those sexy animated thingies? Sorry, I don't know about those.

no, the website I found those on had mostly violent smilies, I got a chuckle out of those, and then the obscence ones well, most of them included flipin' the bird, I don't recomend typing "smilies" into Google.

For one thing, you need at least a concept for the smiley.
Your name means Garden Prayer.
It occurs to me you could have a beautiful vine arching over an animated praying smiley, or little flowers around it, or a crown of flowers on the praying smiley....
Just a thought. :rirainbow:

in all seriousness, what kind of smillie do you want. i honestly can't think of a design that fits you. i was thinking cyborg monkey or trogdor, but those don't seem to fit
JardinPrayer
September 23rd 2003, 11:02 AM
Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Jim: Very sweet. Sheepdog: Very scary!
I had a thought about the existing  sitting in a little nest of flowers, but that may be too intricate. I've been wavering like crazy about another notion: a profile of a smilie kneeling in prayer at a rock like Gesthename...which is where my nic comes from. I'm sorta thinking that may be too in-your-face...a Jesus smilie could upset some folks and that is the last thing I want to do. I'm supposed to be the "gentle voice" of TWeb, after all.
I'd also be willing to take suggestions from those who have gotten to know me (like Jim) - the smilie doesn't have to match the nic if it says "me."
I'm not really a trogdor kinda gal, if you know what I mean. :teeth:

Is that the rule, Solly? I didn't think LaRubia was a mod, but I haven't checked up on that. Didn't Bill the Cat have his smilie before he became a mod? Is Mononoke a mod? How scary.
I don't wanna break any rules...if I'm not allowed one, perhaps I can change the request to simply wanting a custom custom smilie.
Not that anyone is chomping at the bit to design this for me.

You need an image drawer and a gif animator. You need individual frames of each motion, and then you put the frame together in order in the animator.
It's not hard, but it is time consuming.
WHat's wrong with the gerbil?
