Have any of you read the book that contains this debate? From what I've read, Habermas comes out as the winner, but as far as the specific arguments are concerned, I'd like to know whether there is anything original or noteworthy, such that makes this book a good investment.

Habermas wrote a book on it, called "the ressurection debate."
I believe it is OOP, but I've seen it around half.com and ebay.

Come to think about it...

I got it used from Amazon, and it is on the "to read" pile still.

I read it ages ago. Habermas clearly won. Some interesting responses to the debate are included. However, no matter how eminent, a philosopher is not the best person to debate the negative, and his lack of knowledge of history left him helpless. Good to see how Habermas deals with the usual Humean philosophical arguments against miracles.

Incidently, Dee Dee, was it in fairly good condition? I'm a little leary of buying used books when I can't examine them first.
