I understand LGM has a poem for Storico. That gave me the idea to write the following.
It came out at AABBA rhyme, which is the same as for limericks. Regardless of the fact that limericks are usually anything but reverant, here is my poem from last night's Paltalk converted to also limerick meter now.

How comes it to happen to you?
Deceased at just twenty and two?
Yet fair it appears,
So cold of the year,
For one who was in an igloo!

Frozen Tears

The forums echo sweetly still,
Their feckless threads not sewn today,
Untimely death has left a chill,
With somber voice, what can I pray?

The igloo’s flag flies at half mast,
Some frozen tears dot penguin face;
In avatars your smile’s cast,
A beauty that we can’t replace.

Above imagined grave we kneel,
We’ll pledge our faith, and make a vow,
But still the emptiness we feel,
Hangs on our face, in furrowed brow.

We’ll miss you darling Storico,
Your love, your laugh, your caring ways,
You gave us more than you can know,
Your witness set our hearts ablaze.

We pray that now you’ve found some peace,
Free from the pain, the stress and strife,
Your gracious words our hearts have creased,
We’ll carry them, throughout this life.

Whoops!
Post #2 is LGM's poem, "Frozen Tears". I found it at #91 in the "Storico has gone home to be with the Lord" thread.
If the same item should not be posted here and the other thread, some Mod should find out where LGM wants it placed.
For some time now I have been unable to edit my posts. Yet I am allowed to reply to my own posts! Weird, huh?
My own poem is too slight for a name, unless someone wants to give it one.

I found this one online:

Do not weep for me for I am not here,
Yet my soul will never leave you, so do not fear.
I know of your pain from the tears streaming down your face,
But know that I am fine, just in another place.

Walk upright and put one foot in front of the other,
For this day will pass, and yet so will another.
I know your heart is empty, yet forever full of sorrow,
But just remember my smile and look forward to tomorrow.

Grieve if you must, for I do understand,
I will catch your tears one by one and hold them in my hand.
But when at my grave know this when you cry,
I have been given life eternal… I did not die.

So remember me always and know of my love,
I am always watching over you, just from above.
Live life as I would and listen for me… you'll hear,
But do not weep for me for I am not here.

We are sad to no longer have her presence with us, but Storico is now resting in the loving arms of the Lord, who is saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." What could be more joyous?

Does LGM have a new apprentice?

Does LGM have a new apprentice?
Surely you mean, "L-M", not "Aad-M"?
