Oh Lord, in a world of mixed priorities we often get lost in the jumble. I see Your light in the distance-- glowing at me-- smiling with a radiance unmatched. I can't take my eyes off the beam stretched out for me-- not always sure how far away it is, but recalling your promise that I will reach it in time if I seek You out. Each moment, I trip over new branches-- snared by mysterious pitfalls.
