        I heard there was a crisis, and was going to be a rescue attempt, then the world blew up - and politicians politicionized, so....

        no, hadn't heard, but glad you shared!
        The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

          I think there's no more heart-warming "good Canadian" story than the one where the Canadian locals showed up at the airport(s ?) to take care of the passengers from planes bound for the US, but rerouted to Canada because of the 9-11 attacks.
