...I wouldnt vote for Obama. Not in a million years.
The reasons:
a)He is almost certainly a liar. He has lied and still is lying about the depth of his knowledge of Rev Wrights racist and bigoted views. There isnt a chance in hell that Obama didnt know about Wrights more extreme views years ago.
b) He holds a large chunk of America in contept or at least has a patronizing low opinion of them.
c) He has an aura around him that I can only describe as smarmy.
d) He has a lot of unsavoury links to various racist and extremist organizations and groups. These links might be tenuous but, I have to wonder (as a hypothetical Aerican) what his views on race, Israel, terrorism etc really are. I cant trust a word he says.
Having said that. Hillary and McCain arent a whole lot better. But I would never vote for Obama.

I don't think any of that is a concern, but I am sick of his whining.

You dont think its a concern that your next president, the guy who has to steer USS America out of the Credit Crunch and probable recession, either holds racist, extremist and idiotic views, or associates intimately with people who do, or at the very least is a complete moron for sitting in church sunday after sunday and not noticing that the guy who was talking to him was yelling racist, half intelligable rants for an hour?
How can this man be fit to lead the most powerful nation on earth? Weve had 8 years of the Left whining about Bushs idiocy and inadequecy for the post of president. Now the left come up with a man just as bad, if not worst but on the other side of the political divide.

But he's visited all 57 states! If that doesn't demonstrate his love for this country, I don't know what does.

If previous elections are anything to go by, if you were American you probably wouldn't even bother to vote.

So far 57 but he thinks he missed Hawaii, so there's 58 states at least.

What does voting for any candidate really do anyway? It's all about these delegates, or later on, the electoral college.

Does anyone have a good link to quotes of Rev Wright? I heard the 9/11 "Chickens coming home to roost" one and I heard part of the "God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme" one. Obama gave his "I won't disown" speech after that, but denounced Wright after another speech of Wright's. What was it?
b) He holds a large chunk of America in contept or at least has a patronizing low opinion of them.
I can't name a major candidate who doesn't?
d) He has a lot of unsavoury links to various racist and extremist organizations and groups.
What organizations? Don't get me wrong. I'm not an Obama supporter looking for a fight. I missed a news cycle somewhere that explained his extremist links and never got caught up. Everyone talks about Obama's extremist links or defends against the accusations, but I don't have a clear idea what the accusations are.

He has links with the mob in IL and with a radical group that tried to bomb some building (but the bomb exploded when they were finishing it). He does not hide either association.
