The more the merrier. Now if we could just wrangle us up a woman we'd be able to tango with the democrats.

Darn it I misspelled his name in the title, can I change that?
Mod please change the name to "Keyes".

Mossy can be our woman! She has seen many governments rise and fall over the centuries.

Ya'll realize that's the same guy Obama totally obliterated in the Senate race in Illinois?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_election_in_Illinois%2C_2004

The Illinois United States Senate election of 2004 was held on November 2, 2004. Democratic candidate Barack Obama defeated Republican candidate Alan Keyes by 70% to 27%. The 43% margin was the largest in Illinois history in a U.S. Senate election.

Keyes also entered the race about a month before the election and did not try to win. The point of running was to give the Republicans someone who was not attached to scandal as the IL Rep. party was (and is) in shambles due to horrendous problem after horrible scandal. Keyes did not even want to run, for that matter.

I like his appearance on Borat as "chocolate face".

I watched him campaign. The guy was somewhere beyond totally out of touch, seemed to know it, and was pleased with the fact for that matter. Didn't try to win? That's one way to put it. Another way to put it was that he tried to lose. He likes being a loser. Seems to stoke him up somehow.

He is one strange dude.

Whatever you think of him, he has a good history, is strong in his positions, and is far better than the options we have now I grant. Not sure he could steal the Paul fan boys, but he could steal a lot of "I vote for McCain because I have to" votes.

I don't know much about him, but he is a well liked character. I'm currently watching many of his vids on that site.

He doesnt have the temperament for politics.

Otherwise, he is absolutely brilliant and articulate. He would make a good talk-show host or lecturer.

He may be many things, but for Pete's sake he at least HAS to be a better GOP/Conservative option than McCain!

Better conservative option. The GOP does not have a better option.
