I am sure you folks will have no trouble seeing the beauty in these pics.

This hive was really active until I gave them a third box. These were after they began to settle into the new addition.

DOesn't look like there's much meat on those critters.

That is a correct statement. They work it all off.

I wish I could have bees where I live.

I miss having a hive of bees. And I wouldn't be adverse to putting one in my yard. But let one person in my neighborhood get stung (probably by a yellow jacket) and it would be lawsuit time.

They are absolutely gorgeous. I also love to see them around the flowers and fruit trees.

I have killer bees on my back porch, and can't go out my back door.

The hive is in the wall of the house.

Any ideas on getting them to move? = )

Contact your local beekeepers association. If you can't find one give me your location and I will see about locating it. You may want to contact me via pm or email if you are concerned about your privacy.

Last night I got a call from the Anchorage Police Department. There was a swarm of bees in an Eagle River neighborhood. They needed a rescuer. I was on the list and went out to collect the bees and save the neighborhood. All went quite smoothly. This morning I got calls . . .

A reporter from the Daily News wanted to talk to me. I may end up in the newspaper - again. Watch out for it, Kelp.

I made the front page of the local paper. I am now officially a hero.

Who knew that bees had drama queens!
