LONDON - A British baby has now become a cause célèbre for his mother and pro-life advocates in the United Kingdom for miraculously defying twin death sentences from abortion and genetics.

First of all, thank God the baby survived and is apparently healthy. I pray that he will have a long, healthy life and that he will grow to love God.
Secondly: If the woman is so worried about passing on the genetic trait to her children, why doesn't she have her tubes tied so she won't have to face the pain of losing another child to this disorder? Also, I find this statement rather hypocritical:
"Deciding to terminate at eight weeks was just utterly horrible, but I couldn't cope with the anguish of losing another baby," Percival, 25, told the UK Daily Mail.
Just what did you think you were going to lose when you decided to have the child aborted?
