To any Wiccans on this forum who are interested in responding:
I am curious: Have you ever encountered negative spirits? If so, and if you feel comfortable sharing, please provide an account of your experience(s).
In gratitude,

I was once attacked by something (or someone) in my sleep. In my dream, they were on horseback and chased after me and eventually cut me with a sword. When I woke up, the area that was cut in the dream had a scratch and was very red and very painful. And no, it wasn't a cramp. I know cramps and it was not a cramp.
Another time when I was 16, my girlfriend's parents were away and I stayed over. When we were getting intimate, something suddenly turned off all the lights (at the switch, not a blackout, surge or blown fuse), electrical appliances and turned on all of the water taps in the house. We were alone, so it wasn't someone else that was in the house.
Lastly, I performed a few times at a club that was in a really old building. Like a hundred years old church. One time I was given a hard shove in the back as I was going down some stairs and there was noone else anywhere near me. There was also a lot of trouble with glasses flying off tables and the bar.
So yeah, I've had a few encounters with different kinds of spirits.

When I was in my early teens , I started seeing faces hovering over the foot of my bed , mostly after waking up in the morning . I also once saw a full body apparition , of a skeleton .
I'm now 35 , and I haven't seen anything like that for over 7 years . The frequency of these encounters were much more in my teens and early twenties , then as I reached my thirties , it just stopped . I haven't seen anything for over five years .
I have a theory , but I won't go into it here unless you're interested .

These happened to me in one way or another, the feeling of being held down in bed. Then something possessed me and I rebuked them in the name of Jesus and they went away. It wasn't me who said that, it was like a voice out of nowhere. But one time I woke up and saw something evil sitting in a chair near my bed, it giggled like it was embarrassed that I caught it in the act, then disappeared. I guess you could write that off to a lucid dream of some kind, though it seemed real enough to me.
Except for the woman in Victorian clothing and note and speaking tongues, as it may be.
But about twenty years ago, my mother had a dream about a woman dressed in dark old fashioned clothing like that, with dark hair, standing at the foot of her bed. A man that seemed like an angel came into the room and handed my mother a note, the woman got angry and tried to take it for herself but the man stopped her. My mom read the note and it said something like "you are the one I love." My mom got the feeling that the woman was jealous that he didn't love her instead.
My mom didn't know what it meant and didn't know the Bible at all, but I immediately related the woman to the spirit of the Whore of Babylon, who willingly cheats on God with Satan, as opposed to the spirit of the Church who is faithful to God. And to the following:
Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Before that time, my mom also spoke in Hebrew for about half an hour in her sleep, my dad heard it as he was getting ready for work, not me. Again she was a more secular Christian, not really religious. And my dad pretty much atheist at that time, he usually made fun of religious things, but this one he said he heard.
When she woke up she felt something had forcibly removed her memory of what she said, except for a few words. Which when I translated them, also had a meaning.
So some common themes, for sure.
