  • Parents of 2 Americans Killed in Benghazi file Lawsuit Against Hillary Clinton

    http://www.mediaite.com/online/break...llary-clinton/

"The lawsuit alleges that Clinton’s negligence was directly responsible for Smith’s and Woods’ deaths, even saying that terrorists were able to locate them because of “the information that was obtained from Defendant Clinton’s ‘extremely careless’ handling of confidential and classified government information.”

But aside from the wrongful death and negligence charges, they’re also going after Clinton for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

    The defamation charge concerns this:

“Defendant Clinton made false and defamatory statements negligently, recklessly, purposefully, and/or intentionally with actual malice… by stating that Plaintiffs were lying about Clinton having told them that the Benghazi Attack was caused by an anti-Muslim YouTube video.”

I personally think they have a very good case. The only question is whether or not they're going to find a court that will actually give it a fair hearing.

Those involved in the litigation might also want to hire bodyguards during the proceedings. Just sayin.

        What.

Seriously, what. How does something like that go anywhere in court? I'd think that even a court that's heavily biased AGAINST Clinton would have a hard time with this one.

I do kinda agree with you. They would have to prove that that the terrorists had managed to access Clinton's mail server.
Now while I do think that it is probable that her server was hacked, and I do think there is a case for criminal negligence on her part, I don't think it has been demonstrated yet that the terrorists in question had access to her emails.

Why would they even need to get that information from hacked sources? They were attacking the consulate. It's not hard to find, and I doubt the attackers really cared who was inside, besides the ambassador.

Generally in the US you can't sue individual officials for things they did in their governmental roles - you have to sue the US Government as a whole. If this goes anywhere, the US Government will get substituted in as the defendant instead of Clinton.

Maybe the phone book was glued shut and they had to hack at it with a knife to get it open and find the consulate's address.

Depends on what was in the emails. Perhaps there were talks of lax security, or certain times security was lax or certain potential security breeches discussed that would have been ideal for an attack.

No kidding. Otherwise they might commit suicide with an execution-style gunshot to the back of the head.

                      The actual complaint: http://www.freedomwatchusa.org/pdf/1...mplaint%20.pdf

I think they will have a hard case to prove ties with her email server and Benghazi and the death's of their sons. They have no evidence and I don't think they would be allowed access to any proof if it existed since it would be classified.

Their defamation angle might have some teeth if they can prove that she told them one thing and called them liars later when they said what she told them. Maybe. defamation cases are pretty hard to prove. but then everyone already knows Hillary is a liar so it might not be a stretch to prove she lied again in this case.
