Today you will learn that God is in charge no matter how you react to that truth it will not change. You can kick, you can scream, you can hold your breath, you can threaten to jump off a cliff but God will still remain in charge. It is a wise person who begins their prayer with, "God I know you're in charge and always will be and I need you because _____________________________________________________________."
There have been times when God as made a dramatic entrance into the mainstream of my life bringing calmness to rough waters and even now I await for him to calm other burdens I face. Sometimes all I can do is hold fast to the words God voiced through Moses reassuring me, "You must seek Yahweh your God in the place which he will choose from all your tribes, there to set his name and give it a home: that is where you must go." {Deuteronomy 12:5 NJB}
The waters of life at times get rough so there will always be storms and at times it will seem as our fragile lives are doomed to float directionless. Yet standing just outside the medium of time the Creator stands waiting for the winds of change to bring us to the point where our spirits will encounter His and suddenly words spoken, "Peace Be Still" may not be heard but the waters will go still.
God is... ... ...In Charge!
