A metallic finish that is applied to page edging by a spraying process called gilding.

Gold or silver foil is bonded under heat to the page edges of the Bible after they have been carefully saned and sized to create the smoothest possible surface.

A flexible binding with covers projecting slightly beyond the edge of the pages: approx. 1/8 inch. This does not refer to the flexibility of the cover.

A binding procedure in which each signature (group of pages) is sewn through it center fold to the next signature as well to the preceding signature. The result is great strength and durabilty.

A Bible in a metal case that has hinges on the binding. So far only Tyndale Bible Pub. is producing this product.
