Journeying Through the Loss of Your Mom

The Journey through the loss of your mom not only begins the instant she passed into the next life. The Journey also began the instant your lives touched each other. It began when love blossomed in each of you. It began when your weaknesses and strengths became her strengths and weaknesses.

Your mom became a loved one because her life has been painted so preciously and intricately onto the canvas of your life. Onward your journey goes with a portion of your life ripped from it, with a piece of your past gone forever. “Don’t worry,” some say, “time will heal all wounds.” And time does heal but time does not fill the emptiness.

Soon the shadows of time will seem begin to darken your memory but do not worry because just at the right time you will hear a voice calling, “I am here. So long as your heart is beats I will always be with you and in me time will cease to exist.”

“Is that you mom,” you hear yourself saying? And again you hear words, “I am here. So long as your heart beats I will always be with you and in me time will cease to exist.” And you next you will see someone reaching for you and instantly the shadows of time and your empty memory are gone and you see a hand delicately and painstakingly bring to life scenes from the past and your mom will live once again.

Closing your eyes you silently await the next stroke of the artist’s brush and as it does you gently feel it’s soft bristles touch your spirit and suddenly across the portrait of your life appear the words, “I am here. So long as your heart is beating I will always be with you and in me time will cease to exist.” And you watch in awe as the artist autographs the picture and the letters J-e-s-u-s appear.

So when loneliness strikes close your eyes and let the Master Artist carry you on your journey beyond time, beyond life, and believe that reunion in your memory is nothing compared to one that awaits you in eternity.
