Are there any message believers here at Tweb, or any former followers of the teachings of William Branham?
I was just wondering if I could learn more about what they believe, and what distingiushes them and/or William Branham from other types of beliefs in Christianity.

Nobody?
Hmmm... well, does anybody else know anything about him/them?

check this out Branham profile (http://www.watchman.org/profile/branpro.htm)

I know him mostly because of his Serpent Seed doctrine and that his followers believed he as the last day prophet because all his pics supposedly had a halo.

1) Serpent's Seed: Branham taught that Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3) was sexual in nature. According to Branham, Eve was seduced into a sexual relationship with the serpent and became pregnant with Cain. He explained, "Here is what actually happened in the Garden of Eden. The Word says that Eve was beguiled by the serpent. She was actually seduced by the serpent. He was as close to being a human that his seed could, and did mingle with that of the woman and cause her to conceive" (The Original Sin, pp. 2, 3). The serpent's seed was Cain and all his descendants. They are predestined for Hell. The Godly seed is Seth and his descendants who have been revealed by their call to Branham's ministry. A third group, represented by those still in denominational churches have free will to choose Heaven or Hell. The Godly seed are the Bride of Christ and will be raptured before Tribulation. Denominations are or eventually will be the Mark of the Beast and those who remain therein will go through the Tribulation. (Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements, p. 96).

Branham was also a Sabellian heretic, i.e. denied the Trinity.
[PS: I see that Boom's link is very good on that].

And Branham taught his followers that a husband can divorce his wife if she cuts her hair.

Darn. I was hoping that there were maybe one or two message believers on TWeb that I could ask questions to.... I encountered one on Paltalk before I got offline a few months ago, and I have tried to keep up in their rooms out of curiosity to see what all they believe, but, like chatrooms, the conversation often goes fast and in lots of different directions.
I knew they aren't trinitarian, and that they are serpent seeders, but that's about it, and I don't know anything about Branham.

Hi,

Once long ago when I was a young believer I encoutnered an branhamist and was led astray. Perhaps I can help.

What do you want to know.

One thing claimed of Branham was that he could do healings ( a weird vibration in his hand thing, and seeing fire dancing about over peoples heads) and the like.

He taught an immiment end to the world, and had some "prophecies" made.

Also IIRC apparently he resurrected a kid from the dead (or such was claimed).

He was in effect an early version of benny hinn.
