:frown: I really wanted to see it... but I found out it was playing too late and now it's left the only theater that it was playing in in my area.

All of my (Christian) friends who saw it liked, despite scepticism they had beforehand.

There was another thread about this not long ago...why not search for it? There were some folks who really knew the Luther bio well and they said the film was very accurate. Since I didn't know much about the man, I went to see the film to learn. I thought it was excellently produced and marvellously acted. I later heard a theologen speaking about Luther's life and he described certain key events exactly as I had seen them in the film, so I'm guessing it was cool in that department, too.

OK, I dug this thread up because I rented Luther this last weekend. What an great movie! I've read about Luther, but seeing the movie kind of makes him come alive again.
