I saw a guy who made up a special class called "Redneck Tree." I wish I could remember where I saw it at.

Come across that link from somewhere. Its a quiz just incase you actually do want to find out what D&D character you are.
Here were my results:
Lawful Good Elf Fighter Paladin
Follower Of Tyr
Alignment:
Lawful Good characters are the epitome of all that is just and good. They believe in order and governments that work for the benefit of all, and generally do not mind doing direct work to further their beliefs.
Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.
Primary Class:
Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.
Secondary Class:
Paladins are the Holy Warriors. They have been chosen by a God/dess to be their representative on Earth, and must follow the code of that deity, or risk severe penalties. They tend towards being righteous, but not generally to excess.
Deity:
Tyr is the Lawful Good god of justice. He is also known as Tyr Grimjaws, Wounded Tyr, the Maimed God, and Blind Tyr. He appears as a warrior, missing his hand. Followers of Tyr are concerned first and foremost with justice - discovering the truth and punishing the guilty for their crimes. They wear blue and purple robes with a white sash, a white gauntlet on the left hand, and a black gauntlet on the right, to symbolize Tyr's lost hand. Their preferred weapon is the warhammer. Tyr's symbol is a set of scales resting on a warhammer.

You Are A:
Chaotic Good Human Druid Bard
Follower Of Shaundakul
Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.
Race:
Humans are the 'average' race. They have the shortest life spans, and because of this, they tend to avoid the racial prejudices that other races are known for. They are also very curious and tend to live 'for the moment'.
I cannot, cannot believe I am a bard. That is just annoying :bawl:
Primary Class:
Druids are a special variety of Cleric who serves the Earth, and can call upon the power in the earth to accomplish their goals. They tend to be somewhat fanatical about defending natural settings.
Secondary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.
Deity:
Shaundakul is the Chaotic Good god of travel and exploration. He is also known as the Rider of the Winds. His followers are typically rangers, and work to protect the land. They typically wear leather armor, and carry long swords and short bows. Shaundakul's symbol is a white hand with the index finger raised.

This is quite disturbing.... :hrm:
----------------------------------------------------
Neutral Good Gnome Mage Bard
Follower Of Mystra
Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.
Race:
Gnomes are also short, like dwarves, but much skinnier. They have no beards, and are very inclined towards technology, although they have been known to dabble in magic, too. They tend to be fun-loving and fond of jokes and humor. Some gnomes live underground, and some live in cities and villages. They are very tolerant of other races, and are generally well-liked, though occasionally considered frivolous.
Primary Class:
Mages harness the magical energies for their own use. Spells, spell books, and long hours in the library are their loves. While often not physically strong, their mental talents can make up for this.
Secondary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.
Deity:
Mystra is the Neutral Good goddess of magic. She is also known as the Lady of Mysteries. Followers of Mystra wear armor and carry shields with her symbol on them. Mystra's symbol is a ring of stars.

You Are A:
Chaotic Good Dwarf Paladin Monk
Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.
Race:
Dwarves are short and stout, and easily recognizable by their well-cared-for beards. They are hard workers, and adept at stonework and engineering. They tend to live apart from other races; generally in deep, underground excavated systems, and as such tend to be distant from other races.
Primary Class:
Paladins are the Holy Warriors. They have been chosen by a God/dess to be their representative on Earth, and must follow the code of that deity, or risk severe penalties. They tend towards being righteous, but not generally to excess.
Secondary Class:
Monks are strange and generally not understood by the world at large. They live apart from people, and follow strict codes that restrain their behavior and lifestyle. They have an exceptionally calm outlook on life, and generally do not resort to violence unless absolutely necessary. Even when they do, their code of conduct forbids the use of all weapons - except their hands. As such, monks are extremely skilled at hand-to-hand combat, and no other style.

Wow, what a drastic mischaracterization of Tyr! Where'd you get that? Tyr is a Norse god who would more accurately be described as Lawful-Evil (or at best, Lawful-Neutral), and he was the Norse god of war, a violent and bloody god.

And I'm a wizard/mage all the way, baby. I love playing almost any character class, but I have a special knack for playing spell-casters, whether priests or wizards. I have an uncanny ability to figure out unorthodox and highly creative uses for many different spells.

I say chuck this thread in the dorm... ;)
AD&D is a little out of date... my group plays with the 3e rules. When I play I usually follow the battlemage type route.. fighter with some sneaky magic stuff.
Also if you rely mainly on magic, you have to know the back half of the player handbook quite well.

Calvinist? Is that a character class? The character's actions and success would always be predetermined by the DM. lol :egad:

yes, I love White Wolf, especially the old Vampire: The Masquerade. But then, I'm a big fan of the vampire genre in general.
As to Calvinist's question, I would probably be a cross between a Druid and a Cavalier, neither of which are actually allowed to multi-class by the rules of the game (although the Cavalier class was dropped with the 2nd Edition). I also really like the "er, can I play a gold dragon" option. I do have an old character that is a gold dragon that is stuck in human form unaware of its true nature.

As races go, I love playing Drow, but I never play evil characters, so when I play a Drow it is always a renegade (like Drizzt).

White Wolf positively rocks.
Personally, I think the Wraith set of that system is the best. I just love combining crime noir with horror, and Wraith is the perfect setting for that. And on top of that, I love incorporating elements from the Mage set of that system into Wraith. I love the way they overlap in many ways, and that also allows me to introduce elements of conspiracy theory into the storyline as well.
Horror
Crime noir
Conspiracy theory
Modern magical fantasy/occult
Not many can pull off all of that in one story. LOL http://bysshe.homestead.com/files/Smiley_RightIdea.gif
