Be angry! - Is this a ticket to freedom ?

The LORD looked favorably upon Abel and his offering, but he did not look favorably upon Cain and his offering.
When Cain became very upset and downcast, the LORD asked Cain,“Why are you so upset? Why are you downcast? If you do what is appropriate, you’ll be accepted, won’t you? But if you

don’t do what is appropriate, sin is crouching near your doorway, turning toward you.
However, you must take dominion over it.”
Instead, Cain told his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the wilderness.” When they were outside in the fields, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
From: Genesis 4 (St. Moses)

You must understand this, my dear brothers. Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. For human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

Therefore, rid yourselves of everything impure and every expression of wickedness, and with a gentle spirit welcome the word planted in you that can save your souls.
From: James 1 (St. James)

Therefore, rid yourselves of every kind of evil and deception, hypocrisy, jealousy, and every kind of slander. Like newborn babies, thirst for the pure milk of the word so that by it you may grow in your salvation. Surely you have tasted that the Lord is good!
From: 1 Peter 2 (St. Peter)

Now the actions of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger, quarrels, conflicts, factions, envy, murder, drunkenness, wild partying, and things like that.
I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.
Now those who belong to the Messiah Jesus have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let’s also be guided by the Spirit. Let’s stop being arrogant, provoking one another and envying one another.
From: Galatians 5 (St. Paul)

Therefore, stripping off falsehood, “let each of us speak the truth to his neighbor,” for we belong to one another. “Be angry, yet do not sin.”
Do not let the sun set while you are still angry, and do not give the devil an opportunity to work.
From: Ephesians 4 (St. Paul)

Surely we have all said the words, whether audibly or not --- 'If only I had kept my temper and instead done (this or that) '

nb.

Anyone dare to venture which combination might be most suitable for gaining mastery over anger ?

In my humble opinion, whether you are not yet regenerated, or you are regenerated you will still need to learn how to control anger.

Gaining control of your anger is not easy if you have been accoustomed to either GIVING VENT, or SUPPRESSING IT.
While you are gaining control of it, try to think about why you are angry.
In the process you should be able to simmer down enough to make a wise decision.
