Hi :hi: I'm writing a paper relating to the above *points to title* for school, and the sources I've found are mostly secular ones and not particularly helpful. I was wondering if anyone (particularly from a reformed or lutheran persuasion) had any recommendations/articles/information from a christian or at least not-attacking-christians perspective? Everything seems to have an agenda saying how evil the reformers were for doing this, and that's really not useful - I just want something reasonably unbiased to get basic information from. I'm specifically looking for information on why the reformers found these things necessary (I have a general idea but sources are useful!!) and how effective they were.
Also, this topic is fascinating for a social history + anthropology geek like me!
Thanks
