Glory Seeds

What is a Glory Seed, why are they important?

I think it safe to say that each us know what a seed is. But just to be sure we’re all thinking the same here are a few definitions from the dictionary - (1) A mature fertilized plant ovule consisting of an embryo and its food source and having a protective coat. (2) Anything that provides inspiration for later work. (3) Place (seeds) in the ground for future growth.

The word glory is little bit harder to understand but let’s turn to the dictionary again - (1) State of high honor. (2) Brilliant radiant beauty. (3) An indication of radiant light drawn around the head of a saint.

With those meanings in mind and looking at the following scripture those who believed in Jesus were able to see his Divinity. He was in the world that had come into being through him, and the world did not recognize him. He came to his own and his own people did not accept him. But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believed in his name who were born not from human stock or human desire or human will but from God himself. The Word became flesh, he lived among us, and we saw his glory, the glory that he has from the Father as only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
{John 1:10 - 1:14 New Jerusalem Bible}

While Jesus has never walked among us bodily his Spirit walks among us today and the most important thing we'll do is to catch not a glimpse but to take his Spirit into the center of our lives and to be molded into his Divine likeness.

These Glory Seeds composed from the 26 letters of our alphabet are small seeds meant to open your life to Jesus' Spirit. They are important not because I write them but because when nurtured and fed by richness of your life's journey they will help you to behold the Glory of Jesus freeing you to be molded into his Divine likeness. Of all goals you set for yourself the first one should be to experience the Glory Of Jesus.

"Jesus I to you present as worthy of your regard, worthy of your kindness, and worthy of your confidence the reader of this Glory Seed may the power of your Spirit touch theirs and may you claim them as your own. Amen."

Grace & Peace,
Gary

Scripture Seed:
“O Lord our God, the majesty and glory of your name fills all the earth and overflows the heavens. You have taught the little children to praise you perfectly. May their example shame and silence your enemies! When I look up into the night skies and see the work of your fingers--the moon and the stars you have made--I cannot understand how you can bother with mere puny man, to pay any attention to him! And yet you have made him only a little lower than the angels, and placed a crown of glory and honor upon his head. You have put him in charge of everything you made; everything is put under his authority: all sheep and oxen, and wild animals too, the birds and fish, and all the life in the sea. O Jehovah, our Lord, the majesty and glory of your name fills the earth.”
{Psalms 8 Living Bible}
