Anybody know of any books that have good ways to teach apologetics to Jr. High/High School level students? The best option would be full of lesson plans, work sheets, etc., but anything that presents a starting point for analyzing worldviews, common objections to Christianity, etc. would be helpful.
I already have Geisler and Turek's "I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist." It was written for the layman in mind so wouldn't be too tough to turn into lessons, but why re-invent the wheel if there's a better reference out there?
Thanks,
James

J. P. Holding's Blowing the Doors Off! (http://www.xulonpress.com/book_detail.php?id=6634) is aimed at a high-school/entering-college age group. It's basically a short description of how to answer many of the more common objections to (or questions about) the Bible and Christianity, with lists of further resources for more depth.

There isn't anything accompanying it (lesson plans, worksheets), but this book is a gem--really sharp and [even] looks sharp, with its graphic art and photographs. I am still just amazed by it. It isn't too long, nor is it expensive, but it takes on (addreses) just about everything, and does so quite effectively:
Holman Quick Source GUIDE TO CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS Doug Powell A Clear & Complete Overview, Holman Reference, Doug Powell, 2006
Geisler's and Bocchino's UNSHAKABLE FOUNDATIONS: Contemporary Answers To Crucial Questions About The Christian Faith is very impressive as well. Bethany House, 2001 It is the larger and more in depth counterpart that I would add to Powell's book, above.

There is an audio series at Apologetics.com - Apologetics 101 (http://www.apologetics.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=129:basic-apologetics-101-series-part-1&catid=43:kkla-995-fm-los-angeles&Itemid=74)
What do you think of this - Christian Apologetics 101 (http://www.renewyourmind.org/Apologetics%20101.htm)
The great Philosopher of Religion William Lane Craig described the task succinctly:
"We should know our subject profoundly and share it simply."
The first step in a more confident and mature faith is trust in the Spirit, followed by a regimented program of education and study - this course sets the framework for just that, and enables the teacher to teach with proven and well documented materials. This way we carry on Paul's mandate from the Lord to relay the knowledge of the things of God and:
"...entrust to reliable men who will be qualified to teach others."
2 Timothy 2:2
Another testimonial...
THANK YOU! "The most interesting and useful class we've had in Sunday School in years!"

Those two books are amazing. Thanks so much! I'm totally digging the Holman Quick Source one. I especially liked the last chapter comparing the three methodologies of apologetics.

Well great ! I'm glad they are working out. You know I did the layout--I did the graphics--I shot the photographs for Powell--and I wrote the last chap--I am Doug Powell !
Yeah, yeah; that's the ticket !
