Hi

I'm looking for something salty that I can take with me to school in my backpack. Got any cheap suggestions that are not full of fat?

pretzels.
I need ziplock bags or big food storage bags for those, right?

Since obviously I am not likely to take a whole big bad with me.

You will need a ziploc bag. I think pound for pound pretzels are the cheapest salty type snack.

Of course if you wanted to spend a little more money you could opt for the cadillac of all snack foods: Cheetos

I used to take little mini pretzels to work with me, about a handful in a ziploc sandwich bag. Worked just fine.

I have to second the notion of pretzels; I'm a lifelong fan.

A bag of little pirates. They're salty and the gold on them will pay for the cost of buying them.

Snyder's Hot Buffalo Wing Pretzel Pieces. Best snack ever.
