Attention Tekton Fans and Foes Alike! The imitation site has dropped plate tectonics and has returned to its original format

Any thoughts?

Also, as you read through it, what would you say their definition of "fundamentalism" is? (Ah, so many different meanings to that word..)

I have to say my personal opinion here. Something just sits wrong in my gut about taking an original domain name, just changing the extension, and riding on the coat-tails of that other's persons original idea. I have to thank Robyn though for inspiring us here at TWeb to register the following....

www.theologyweb.com
www.theologyweb.net
www.theologyweb.org

:yipee:

I am not trying to impurgn Robyn's character, I just find that particular tactic low. If you want to mock JPHolding fine... but don't rip off the first part of the domain name and simply change the extension. Is it legal? Absolutely. But is it right? I don't think so. Not everything that is legal is right. I know that when I first saw some of the links Robyn posted, I didn't even notice that the extension was different and was puzzled why he would be linking to JP's site.

Maybe my perspective is wrong here. Any opinions?

I'm so disappointed! The hardest hitting geological website on the 'net replaced with some lukewarm anti-fundamentalist 'project' with like 2 articles of it's own. Now where will I learn about Plate tektonics?

Hiya folks,

Well, Robyn is just up to his/her/its usual copycatting -- same pattern as when he/she/it is asked to defend the points of view he/she/it copies and pastes from. I figured out it would not be worth the trouble to contact ICANN over the obvious violations. For one thing, they charge $1500 for dispute resolution and Robyn is worth only $15.98. For another, I like warning people on the front of my site better.

I have to admit the article by the bishop caught in the girlie bar was a nice touch.

Meanwhile I also spruced up Tektonics.org with a new background pattern on the index page. Awesome.

JP,
You could also contact the company that Hosts his site and mention how Robyn is in violation of ICANN rules.

I'm positive I emailed you the relevant WHOIS search results.

Also, IF Robyn's information on the WHOIS search is fictitious that would be grounds itself for having his site removed in its entirety. In other words, the information given by Robyn to the Hosting company is supposed to be REAL, not a pseudonym or fictitious in any way (i.e., it has to be the registrants REAL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, etc.)

Drat!! I did want to learn about plate tektonics. That was actually pretty funny.A worthy aim, but you wouldn't have learned much from an ignoramus :dunce: and cheap parrot like Robyn Banx . Try the articles here (http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/faq/tectonics.asp) for state-of-the art information about leading supercomputer models of catastrophic plate tectonics involving runaway subduction.
