Historically, (look it up) John Edwards was a huge proponent for health care coverage for all Americans when he was running for president.

But the disgraced former candidate recently balked at paying a $5,000 dental bill for his love child daughter, who is uninsured, say sources.

Keep in mind that Edwards is:

1) A millionaire
2) A tort lawyer (they're the guys who contribute to rising health care costs)

Edwards doesn't want to pay for his own child's health care, even though he could afford it a lot easier than most of us could, but he has no problem with making everybody else (the majority of whom don't have Edwards' bank account) pay for it.

Pathetic and disgusting. But what else can you expect from the man who tells the average Joe he needs to give more to the poor while owning the most expensive mansion in his county? (http://www.carolinajournal.com/exclusives/display_exclusive.html?id=3848)

I can't get to the National Enquirer at work, so I did a quick google--and I'm not finding anything that seems to be more "legit", like NYT or similar. Do you have something more, well, reasonable, in terms of believability? I don't doubt he's a scumbag, but I'm not going to bash him for what some rag says.

The (I can't believe I'm saying this) National Enquirer is the most legit source as far as the Edwards drama is concerned considering the rest of the media wouldn't even cover this and everything else they've said regarding Edwards so far turned out to be true (cheating, the love child).

A malformed jaw could be the issue (I don't know if that is the case, but would make sense for an infant0.
