Deeper Waters Prayer Thread

This is a thread I set up following the idea of JPH's "Pray for JPH thread." I will keep it updated with how you can pray for us. Naturally, donations are always helpful.

Last night, Toodles and I were going to bed and I got up to turn out a light I'd left on for her with some minor stomach pains. I thought I could just wait them out.

Before I got back in bed, Toodles said I was really screaming in pain it was so bad. We called a doctor friend and he came over and took me to the ER.

Turns out I have gallstones. I could have to have my gallbladder removed.

That's bad enough, especially with being unemployed, but then he said I need to limit my diet. No more pizza until this is taken care of.

My diet being an Aspie is restricted enough as it is. This killed a good portion of it.

I have an appointment next Tuesday. Keep us in your prayers.

I will be going in for surgery on the 13th. Pray for us in this time. We've gone through a lot in our short marriage already, but it's made us stronger thus far. I think we grow closer together every day. This will be a strain on our finances as well. Remember, what I do here is supportable by people like you and with tax-deductible gifts that can be made to Tektonics for us.

Just got a call from AP and Toodles -- he's out of his surgery and really groggy but apparently everything went as planned. Keep up the prayers. I'll post this also in the Chaplain's Office thread. Post your well wishes now for his triumphant return from having his kryptonite gallbladder removed! :wink:

Dangit. Just got a call from AP, he was on his way to something outside and he slipped and fell on a walkway and hurt himself (but not where the operation was, thankfully). He's on his way to a clinic now.

Good grief. :sigh: Just what he needed now, eh?

I'm back home. My elbow's pretty sore, but nothing's broken. Let's hope that's the worst of it.

Be praying for my friend Devin. He has a horrible case of swine flu, so bad that he's in ICU. He is a Christian and an apologist. His wife is standing by him all throughout this. He is in a medicinally induced coma right now. Pray for him and his wife both.
