I have a Toshiba A10 laptop with a DVD/CD burner combo drive. I need the name of a good program for burning data and music cd's. I have tried Nero and can't get it to work with this computer.....HELP

Nero is good. Musicmath will burn music cd's too, and maybe even data cds, though I don't know.

is it WinXP? i don't know about earlier Windoze OS's, but Windows XP has a built in burning software. don't recall how to get to it though

It is XP. The included software is pretty basic though. I have had trouble burning some stuff with it.

It does burn data cds cirisme. I use Music Match to back up my biblestudy software resources(Books)

roxio makes the software that comes with xp. just copy and paste to use.

Or you could do a google search for Burn4Free. I use it for my data backups.

I think even Napster and iTunes have built-in CD burning features.

Longhorn supposed to be able to burn DVDs as well as CDs. I dunno if you want to wait until 2005 though :doh:
