Bananas and Dirty Bombs

I was watching Good Morning America (one of the rare times my tv was one) and they were discussing these little beeper sized radioactivity detectors at use at US borders to detect if anyone is smuggling in a "dirty bomb." However, these detectors also go off if someone recently had chemo or an xray.... They also go off if someone is smuggling in large quantities of bananas due to the potassium level.


TWeb has caused many a radioactivity detector to go haywire.
