Went to see this over the weekend, hadn't realised it's the standard 'English' bad guy sort of stuff. All about how the yanks went back in time to help the French win the 100 years war.
So there you have it all Americas fault.

Poor film, left loads of holes in the story, never explained why 1357 Castle rock was the one place a worm hole would go to, or why the main inventor was so shifty.

what? i am way out of it. i enjoyed the book, didn't even realize there was a movie for it. the book is pretty good, btw, and in the book, iirc, both sides were french.

just from your description, sounds like they changed quite a bit for the movie. maybe i'll wait for video.

Movies that involve time travel always raise to many paradoxes for me to enjoy them.

But this just me being overly critical.
