Happy Belated One Week Birthday, Dot and Notdot!

My cat Grace gave birth to Notdot Wednesday a week ago. Thursday, after a little Oxycotin, she gave birth to Dot. Yesterday she scared the heck out of me by moving them. Tried again with Notdot this morning. :brood:

Mother and kittens are doing fine despite the rought start. Silver even got to play mommy to Notdot for a few hours the day Dot was born!

No, I used a marker dot to keep them straight since they are a lot alike. At the moment it appears Dot is a girl and Notdot is a boy - but with very young kittens it's not always easy to tell and so this may change. Anyway, I started calling them Dot and Notdot and found that I liked the sound.

Dot opened her eyes today. Notdot has started. :smile:

Notdot is three weeks today. Dot will be three weeks tomorrow. Both celebrated by actually walking today.

To celebrate their four week birthday, Dot and Notdot have begun exploring the outside world - they have discovered gravity in the process. That eight inch step right out the doorway never bothers Mom...
