I always liked the intro to "Can you feel the love tonite" from Lion King:
I can see what's happening (what?)
And they dont' have a clue (who?)
They'll fall in love, and here's the bottomline...
Our trio's down to two (oh)
The sweet caress of the twilight
There's magic in the air
And among all this romantic atmosphere...
DISASTER'S IN THE AIR!!!
(I'm sure I could think of others, too, but this one came to mind....)

ok I like this song because not only does it have a great message but my mum requested it at her funeral so it is very meaningful to me
Soundtrack : pocahontas (1995)
You think you own whatever land you land on
The earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But if know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life has a spirit has a name
You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But of you walk the footstept of stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew
* Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind
Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun-sweet berries of the earth
Come roll in all the richer all around you
And for once never wonder what they're worth
The rainstorm and the river are my brother
The heron and the other are my friend
And we are all connected are my to each other
In a circle in a hoop that never end
How high does the sycamore grow
If you cut it down then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf
Cry to the blue corn moon
For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voice of the mountain
Need to pain with all the colors of the wind
You can own is earth and still
All you'll own is earth until
You can pain with all the colors of the wind

Ugh, no offense, Luv, but i hated that song... the line "* Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon" makes no sense. I don't even know what a blue corn moon is...

Bill here is why it is called a blue corn moon...
Special names are given to the full moons in each month, although there are several different naming conventions variously attributed to different Native American tribes (Minutillo, NOBLE, Haspel and Knutson 1993, Ottewell 1999, Thomas and Hale 1999). An extensive tabulation by tribe is given by Konstantin.
Blue Moon - Astronomers classify a blue moon as the second full moon to occur in a single calendar month. We average about 41 blue moons each century, one every 2.4 years.
so if a blue moon falls in the corn season or something along those lines it becomes a blue corn moon... the native americans have names such as Flower Moon, Seed Moon, Planting Moon,Green Grass Moon,Green Corn Moon, Dyad Moon, Mead Moon, Moon of horses, Lovers' Moon.... so see Bill its not that weird :teeth:

From the Animaniacs, the ettiquette song:
Yakko: When you walk into a party
It's a formal universe
Yakko Wakko + Dot : So you jump up on your host
And with a kiss say "Hello, Nurse!"

the pirate song from vege tales  I think this song is funny:noid: so I like vege tales what are you looking at
From A Very Silly Sing-Along
Narrator: "Joining Larry are Pa Grape and Mr. Lunt, who together make up
the infamous gang of scalliwags, the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything!"
Larry, Pa, Mr. Lunt: "We are the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything! We just
stay home and lie around. And if you ask us to do anything, we'll just
tell you ..."
Larry: "We don't do anything!"
Pa: "Well, I've never been Greenland and I've never been to Denver, and
I've never buried treasure in St. Louis or St. Paul, and I've never been
to Moscow and I've never been to Tampa, and I've never been to Boston in
the fall."
All: "'Cuz we're the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything! We just stay home
and lie around. And if you ask us to do anything, we'll just tell you
.."
Mr. Lunt: "We don't do anything. And I never hoist the mainstay and I
never swab the poop deck, and I never veer to starboard 'cuz I never
sail at all, and I've never walked the gang plank and I've never owned a
parrot, and I've never been to Boston in the fall."
All: "'Cuz we're the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything! We just stay at home
and lie around. And if you ask us to do anything, we'll just tell you
.. We don't do anything!"
Larry: "Well, I've never plucked a rooster and I'm not too good at
ping-pong, and I've never thrown my mashed potatoes up against the wall,
and I've never kissed a chipmunk and I've never gotten head lice, and
I've never been to Boston in the fall!"
Pa: "Huh? What are you talking about? What's a rooster and mashed
potatoes have to do with being a pirate??"
Mr. Lunt: "Hey, that's right! We're supposed to sing about pirate-y
things!"
Larry: "Oh ..."
Pa: "And who ever kissed a chipmunk? That's just nonsense! Why even
bring it up? Am I right? What do you think?"
Mr. Lunt: "I think you look like Cap'n Crunch!"
Pa: "Huh? No I don't!"
Mr. Lunt: "Do too."
Pa: "Do not!"
Mr. Lunt: "You're making me hungry."
Pa: "That's it, you're walkin' the plank!"
Mr. Lunt: "Says who?"
Pa: "Says the captain, that's who!"
Mr. Lunt: "Oh, yeah? Aye aye, Cap'n Crunch!"
Larry: "And I've never licked a spark plug and I've never sniffed a
stink bug, and I've never painted daisies on a big red rubber ball, and
I've never bathed in yogurt and I don't look good in leggings ..."
Pa: "You just don't get it!"
All: "And we've never been to Boston in the fall!"

To correct a few things from some of my favorite Disney songs:
"The sweet caress of twilight"
"Hakuna Matata"
My favorite has got to be . . .
A Whole New World from Aladdin
(Aladdin:) I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did
you last let your heart decide
(Aladdin:)I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways, and under
On a magic carpet ride
(Aladdin:)A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming
(Jasmine:)A whole new world
A dazzling place i never knew
But when I'm way up here
It's crystal clear
That now i'm in a whole new world
With you
(Jasmine:)Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feeling
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky
(Jasmine:) A whole new world
(Aladdin:) Don't you dare close your eyes
(Jasmine:) A hundred thousand things to see
(Aladdin:) Hold your breath- it gets better
(Jasmine:)I'm like a shooting star, I've come so far I can't go back to where i used to be
(Aladdin:) A whole new world
(Jasmine:) Every turn a surprize
(Aladdin:) With new horrizons to pursue
(Jasmine:) Every moment red letter
(both:) I'll chase them anywhere, there's time to spare, let me share this whole new world with you
(Aladdin:) A whole new world
(Jasmine:) A whole new world
(Aladdin:)That's where we'll be
(Jasmine:) That's where we'll be
(Aladdin:) A thrilling chase
(Jasmine:) A wonderous place
(Both:) For you and me
Ver 2
(Aladdin:) A whole new world
(Jasmine:) Every turn a surprize
(Aladdin:) With new horrizons to pursue
(Jasmine:) Every moment gets better
(I can recite it but it is so much easier to copy and paste)
My second favorite song would be Washu no komoriuta (Washu's Lullaby) from Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki OAV Episode 8
April roses, tiny sparrows
Comets bright and new
All belong together
With the myst'ry that is you
When I see your little face
I hear a song from long ago
I think you know
The many secrets I've forgotten
Generations through the ages
Joined as one somehow
Leading to the miracle
That I am holding now
From the sky and from the sea
Upon a breeze you came to me
You seem to see
A greater universe than I do
Sleep my baby, sleep my baby
Dream of somewhere far away
Do you remember still
How I hope you always will
Keep the memory of the day
The world was born
When you wake up I'll be waiting
Eager for your smile
You've had quite a journey darling
You should rest a while
When you cry we still rejoice
To hear your voice - oh yes, it's true
My sweet Washu
Please understand how much we love you
Sleep my baby, sleep my baby
Later on perhaps you'll tell
The wonderous things you've seen
More miraculous than dreams
Tell me all about the day
The world was born
Sleep my baby, sleep my baby
Dream of somewhere far away
Do you remember still
How I hope you always will
Keep the memory of the day
The world was born

I already mentioned this in another thread...
But my favorite animated movie songs are from "Urusei Yatsura: Remember My Love". The two theme songs, "Remember My Love" and "Born To Be Free" rocked! And they were in English too.

Yeah ! Sing it, Stefanie ! :thumb:
I wanna thank you for...
All the trust and devotion...
Thank you... for the good times...
For your love...
Love as deep as any ocean...
Though for a while we may go separate ways,
I know nothing can come between us...
O-o-oh... no matter what people say...
Say... you... will remember my love...
Say you never will lose sight of...
The light we found to guide us...
Say... you... will remember my love...
Call me any lonely night, love...
You know I'm on your side...
Well, all around the world,
People looking for someone,
To have and belong to...
Everyone...
Needs a love to hold on to...
And when you find someone,
You'll open your eyes,
To the beauty that's all around you...
O-o-oh... and I'm so happy I found you, love...
Say... you... will remember my love...
Say you never will lose sight of...
The light we found to guide us...
Say... you... will remember my love...
Call me any lonely night, love...
You know I'm on your side...

ok I liked this song from Spirit of the cimarron
Artist: Bryan Adams Lyrics
Song: Get Off My Back Lyrics
Well you think that you can take me on
You must be crazy
There ain't a single thing you've done
That's gonna phase me
Oh, but if you want to have a go
I just want to let you know
Get off my back and into my game
Get out of my way and out of my brain
Get outta my face or give it you best shot
I think it's time you better face the fact
Get off my back
You know it's all just a game that I'm playing
Don't think that you can't find a way in
That's what I'm saying
Oh if you want to have a go
I just want to let you know...

That's a TV show, not a movie.
Besides, Magic Knight Rayearth has the best music of all TV anime!
