Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
Part Four: A Journey inside the Crucifixion Jesus…

“So Pilate handed Jesus over to them to be crucified. The soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, Jesus went out to a place called The Place of the Skull, which in the Hebrew language is called Golgotha. There they crucified Jesus. They also crucified two other men, one on each side, with Jesus in the middle. Pilate wrote a sign and put it on the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. The sign was written in Hebrew, in Latin, and in Greek. Many of the people read the sign, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city. The leading priests said to Pilate, “Don’t write, ‘The King of the Jews.’ But write, ‘This man said, “I am the King of the Jews.” ’ ” Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”” (John 19:16–22, NCV)

History paints Pilate as one who caved in who would not take a stand for Jesus and knowing the truth chose to deny it, which eventually took Jesus’ life. Yet often overshadowed by his denial of the truth are seven words that will forever stand out in my mind – “What I have written I have written.” Those seven words do not excuse him but they stand as a testimony that Jesus had made his way into Pilate’s heart.

As a Servant of the Most High God those seven words stand as a reminder that divine truth can be denied but it cannot be stopped. Therefore, in all things and all situations I will always strive to express the truthfulness that Jesus is not only King of my life but everyone else’s as well!

Yet Jesus is more than just King of my life Jesus is to me what the sun is to the earth, Jesus is to me what gravity does on the earth, Jesus to me is what water is to life on earth, there are even times when Jesus to me is like a landscape changing earthquake. Pilate understood Jesus as a political figure I wonder what would have been the outcome if he understood Jesus as you and I understand Jesus?

We are people of the Resurrection called to be Living Witnesses of a Living Savior not a dead Jesus!

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.”
