My wireless mouse stopped working, so I got a new one. But now the new one doesn't work either and my windows 10 laptop can't find a driver for it.

Go into control panel and find the device manager - unplug the dongle that came with your wireless mouse - uninstall all mice from the device manager, then reboot your computer. THEN plug in your new wireless mouse's dongle.

Wait... bluetooth mouse, or one that came with a dongle?

It doesn't even recognize it as a mouse...

OK, with the USB thingy installed, can you "uninstall" the driver in device manager, and then do an update - search for changes?

what's the make and model of the mouse? Sometime you can find a driver online, and install the driver.

There is a reason why I will only use a Logitech mouse. I have never had any issues with them. (now Microsoft mice, those I've had issues with.
