Did you know that God is foolish?
Did you know that God is weak?
It’s true! And here’s all the proof you need --- “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” (1st Corinthians 1:25 NKJV)
Before you click me off into oblivion remember things are not always they way they seem.
God is neither foolish nor is he weak! What we have in the above scripture is taken out of context, a half truth, and attempt to convince you of something that isn’t so. If you read the entire section from where that is taken you’ll discover the Apostle Paul is trying to explain that one can not know God intimately by using our human faculties. An intimate and spiritual relationship with Jesus is how we can come to know God.
In the advertising world to be a valuable member of society you need to young, beautiful / handsome, dressed in the finest clothes, eating the right food, driving the right car, vacationing in exotic places, using the right hair care products, wearing designer glasses, drinking the right beer, and the list goes on and on.
Things are not always they way they seem to be.
Just so there is no doubt as to how valuable you really are --- “Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them; for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world, therefore what they say is of the world, and the world listens to them. We are of God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and he who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God; for God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins.” (1st John 4:4 - 4:10 RSV)
Oh, one more thing just to set the record straight --- The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." (Psalms 14:1 RSV)
Smile God Love You!
