Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
    Blessed are the Caregivers…

“For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will save it.” (Luke 9:24, HCSB)

    Are you a caregiver?
If you claim Jesus as Lord you are!

Are you responsible for caring for someone who cannot care for themselves?
If you claim Jesus as Lord you are!

Are you called upon from time-to-time to financially, emotional, physically, and spiritually carry the burden and support for someone else?
If you claim Jesus as Lord you are!

If you claim Jesus as Lord then you already know that it’s not a walk in the park. It’s not really hard to make Jesus Lord of your life but what is hard is what you need to give up – your life. However, “So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, we must work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:9–10, HCSB)

For those who grow weary of carrying the burden of Jesus being the Lord of their life and all that goes with it the Prophet Isaiah provides insight into one phase of God’s reward. “He gives strength to the weary and strengthens the powerless. Youths may faint and grow weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:29–31, HCSB)

And finally the Apostle Paul reminds us that is by faith we need to have patience in God’s plan and timing for our lives. “Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6, HCSB)

We ARE caregivers because God first cared for us!

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.”
