being a person regenerated from nonsenseical alien conspiracy theories (heh, still love my X Files though), these days i presume that we are the only live in the universe until shown otherwise. (i typically appeal to statistical theories that suggest life is extraordinarily improbable, despite the number of systems that might actually be out there).

what i am curious about though, hypothetically speaking, it there was another planet carrying inteligent beings, how would the Gospel and the life, death, and Res. of Jesus affect them? or maybe more accurately, any conjecture as to how God would reach out to those people as well?

Have you ever read C.S. Lewis' cosmic trilogy?

Out of Silent Planet
Perelandra
That Hideous Strength

They are really entertaining, and adress your question better than I can. Don't take 'em *too* literally though, as we know there is no life on Mars and Venus.

Basically it answers the presumption that all life in the Universe must be fallen. It may be just as possible that other worlds never experienced a fall like our own, and have an intimate relationship with God without need of redemption.

If that were true, I don't think God would allow them to come here so that the world would have reason to glory in His non-existence.

Well, according to Lewis the Earth is 'quaranteened'.. or however you spell it. Literally the 'home base' for the fallen angels, a 'silent planet' that needs redemption. I don't know if he really believes that or was just using it as a plot device, but it was a good story with some interesting ideas.

Man I loved that book series. I'll have to read it again sometime soon.

I've found pretty much everything by Lewis to be gold, though I don't take everything he says uncritically. Till We Have Faces was also a remarkable book

The story of another visitation by Jesus is already laid out in the sci-fi "Book of Mormon".

The Earth was created on Day 1, while the sun, moon and stars (plus any planets the stars might have) were created on Day 4. Adam’s sin resulted in God’s Curse on the whole creation (Romans 8:20–22), so would have affected the e.g., Vulcans, Klingons, Romulans, etc. The Second Person of the Holy Trinity incarnated on Earth alone, took on human nature, died for the sins of those He has the ‘kinsman-redeemer’ relationship with (Isaiah 59:20, Hebrews 2:11–18), then ascended to the right hand of God the Father. He did not take on Vulcan or Klingon nature. And He will have only one Bride, the church, for all eternity. Not an Earth church bride, a Vulcan church bride, and so on.
