Can it happen?
Looking at Ephesians 4, John 17, and most importantly Amos 3:3 makes me believe that it can't happen. What do you think?

it is possible, but won't be truly so until we all stop taking Jesus for granted. And by that I mean truly live Godly lives.

Apples and oranges.
The scriptures do not refer to denominational unity.
The scriptures refer to the unity of the Body of Christ.
Denominations are by nature essentially divisive of the Body of Christ.
The realm of denominations and the realm of the Body of Christ overlap but are not coterminous.

I absolutely agree with you. Lately, however, the terms 'denominational walls' and 'unity' have been tossed around in the ministry circles that I run in. So, the question is less about The Church (the Body of believers) and more about the feasibility to want to have unity amongst denominations, or are we just chasing after the wind?
I'm really grasping at straws, because I'd really like to hear from someone that thinks that all denominations are called to unify because of something in the Bible.

I don't think the Chruch will be fully united until Christ comes back. Although persecution has a nice way of keeping the saints from bickering.

Take care

If Christians only realized the truth and significance of that fact...
