After the Samaritan woman’s encounter with Jesus she went running to her village with the news that she’d found the Messiah. Caught up in the spirit of her account of what happened they followed her to where Jesus was. As they listened to Jesus the truth of what the woman was telling them became a part of their life because they knew in their hearts what the woman was right. Later, “Then they said to the woman, ‘Now we believe because we have heard him ourselves, not just because of what you told us. He is indeed the Savior of the World.’” (*John 4:42 NLT)
One day while traveling a freeway through Flint, Michigan the lane I was driving in suddenly turned into an off ramp and I found my self momentarily not going in the direction I wanted to go. Luckily just across the street was the on ramp so within minutes I was headed in the right direction again. On the road to the Cross are many voices offering you directions. Today there are many voices telling us we should go this way or we should go that way listening to the one always ends in disaster.
These messages each day are only one voice among the many voices you’ll hear today they are only my story like the people in village I urge, I beg you to seek Jesus and listen to his voice as he speaks to your heart. He will if you ask him to, then take the time to listen.
Grace & Peace,
Gary
