PRAISE

I know that it has been a few days since I have last posted here, but I have had a 3-day job these past few days, & it has really been exhausting!
I have been helping deliver SELECT COMFORT beds, all over central Wisconsin, pulling average 11 hours each day! I was finally able to get some decent sleep, last night!
There are two verses that I would like to look at today.
I can't exactly remember where this first verse is, but it is one that all Believers know very well: "Where two or three are gathered in My name, there I am in the midst of them."
The very truth of this verse has really been shown to be so true to me this past week.
I mentioned earlier that this whole week is a time of fasting & prayer, in preperation for the visit of our guest evangilist, Carl Harris. Our church has been open 24/7 since last Sunday, for people to come in pray for a major revival to come to the city of Madison!
People can come anytime, but there are also peole that have signed up to come for specific times as well. I came in yesterday morning, at midnight, & found 6 other people there! This is on a Wednesday morning! Where two or three are gathered in my name-this is really a verse thast we can take to heart!
While God certainly desires each one of us to spend individual time with Him, when God's people are preparing for a major Christian event, Satan really steps up the attack on God's people! He did it at our Christmas production of OH MY STARS, by people becoming sick right before our preformances, & He is doing it again here, before Carl Harris comes!
We are keeping a journal at the church for people to record impressions that God has given us, during our prayer times there. There is a distinct impression in what has has been written, that there really is a desperate earnestness in everybodies hearts for God to send a revival, but also for protection against Satan's attacks as well!
Which brings me to the second verse that I have in mind-II Timothy 2:13- "If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for he cannot disown, (Deny), Himself."
When God's people pray, the first thing that Satan will cause them to do is stumble in their faith, so that they willl not be walking right with God! He casues us to lose some of our faith in our Savior, & yes; even to fall down!
Yet despite this, GOD IS NOTE ABOUT TO LET US GO!!!!!! HE LOVES US TOO MUCH TO DO THAT! He will use the conviction of the Holy Spirit to bring His wayward children back to Him! Thank-You, Lord! Our Lord keeps us together, because as I mentioned in my first verse-there is tremendous power in groups of Believers gathering together in one unified purpose-to seek the leading of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ!
Satan cannot win this battle! God is the ultimate victor! Jesus made that truth evident, when He rose from the dead, breaking the bonds of sin for all those who choose to believe in Him! Satan cannot win, because GOD is more powerful! Praise the Name of Jesus!
Let us pray.
"Heavenly Father, we give you all the thanks for the TRUTH that You ARE the ultimate victor against Satan! That through the death of Your Son, our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, you have broken the curse of sin, & restored all those who choose to believe in You, & commit their whole lives to Your service! We may fall, but You have the ultimate victory, Lord God! The victory IS Yours, & You will always be there to bring us back to You, in order to win that victory! As Your people, we say, "THE LORD IS GOD!!!" Lord Jesus, You are the victor! You & You alone have redeemed us, & You are not about to let us go, because You still have so much planned for those of us who KNOW that we are indeed Your children, saved, not by our own doing, but only through Your grace, because You loved us so much, that You gave your life, that we may live! We bless You & You alone, Lord jesus! We worship You & You alone, for You are indeed the final victor! In Your Name alone, do we pray, Lord Jesus! In Your name alone! Amen!"
In Jesus Name!
