I knew when I heard that speech ten minutes ago that there was going to be a post on TWeb about this ;-)

And now Adrian Brody breaks the conventional wisdom, kisses Halle Berry, and totally negates Moore's idiocy.

I have to admit thought that I did laugh a little as I read "Stupid White Men."

Moore had one or two good points in there...buried under mountains of easily refutable blather. As I've said repeatedly, if you want good liberal arguments, go read The New Republic. At least I have to WORK to answer those.

Ahh, there are blow hards everywhere. What makes me laugh is the fact that radical right and radical left think they are so different from eachother.

O'Reilly really ain't Republican boilerplate. Limbaugh will repeatedly criticize the president on things like steel tarriffs and the farm bill. So far, only Hannity seems to be the closest adherent to the GOP party line.

O'Reilly really ain't Republican boilerplate. He's a conservative blowhard. He may not tow the Republican line 100%, but he's a blowhard.

Limbaugh will repeatedly criticize the president on things like steel tarriffs and the farm bill.Karl Rove is #1 on his speed dial. Give me a break.

So far, only Hannity seems to be the closest adherent to the GOP party line. Blowhard incarnate.

But then again, even strong conservatives versus strong liberals are alike and so are moderates of both camps. Its just that the closer you get to moderate, the more likely you aren't an ignorant fool. I'd still say I'm a strong liberal, but part of that deals with the life experiences I've been dealt. The extremes on both sides are nuts, but they are needed to cancel out the other side. The ultra environmentalists are arrogent and ignorant of reality. So are the pump the ground dry, we don't need to ever compromise Right.

Yeah, the only difference is that the right is, well, right.

Say it ain't so! I love O'Reilly! Partially because he's an environmentalist! Maybe the reason he sounds so "Republican" lately is because the Democrats are providing more fodder for him by making asses of themselves.

I'm not a Republican, but I do agree with the mentality of small gov't. I don't tow the Republican line on issues like environmentalism or gun control though (and I'm undecided on the death penalty).
