Dee Dee, why don't you come out of the eshcatology sections for once and tell your stance on Calvinism/Arminianism/Open View? :brow:

Gavin, read her siggy line; plus see the Postmillennialism and Calvinism thread, where she turns tail...ooops, :nc:... declines to debate at this time due to pressures elsewhere

Hey Gavin!!
I am decidedly not Calvinistic. I am decidedly not Open View. I am considering Molinism, but it is just basically a flirt at this time because I have not given it any real serious study. My thought that I may be one is based upon the following:
JPHolding has written some stuff on the Calvinsim issue that I agree with and he has been told that it is very akin to William Lane Craig's views who is Molinist. JP's stuff can be found here:
http://www.tektonics.org/TK-T.html
If you go to that page scroll down to "Tulip" and there is an index of the articles on each petal.
Jaltus who is Molinist has written a bunch of stuff that I agree with.
However, after further study I may abandon the idea, I dunno. To be honest, soteriology makes my head hurt, and I do not have the passion for the subject as I do with eschatology.
So when you going to let me continue to convert you?

Dee Dee,
So when you going to let me continue to convert you?

Hey now!! I never committed to being a cessationist, though cessationism does often go with preterism... I am not sure it is a necessary outflow from it. I have not studied the issue enough to have a definite position.

Dee Dee,
Understood. And I do hope to continue discussions with you about preterism.
Sincerely,
Gavin
