My kids LOVE this, they get to play with it, then eat it!!
It's peanut butter play-dough.
You take some peanut butter (a cup or so, depending how much you want and how many kids you've got), some powder coffee creamer, and a bit of honey (to taste), and mix it all together, and wallah. Food you CAN play with. (Oh, and with the creamer, just keep dumping it in, until it isn't sticky anymore, until you've got it the way you want it).
Anybody else got any ideas to share?

I like making those Pudding dirt cups with worms.

Take chocolate pudding mix it with crushed up oreo cookies, and put in some gummy worms. It looks like the worms are coming out od dirt.

10 ounces chocolate, almond bark or candy discs
1/3 cup corn syrup
Slowly melt candy and stir until smooth. Add syrup and blend thoroughly. Pour onto waxed paper and spread with fingers until about 1/2 inch thick. Cover loosely with waxed paper and permit to stiffen for a few hours.
Kids can play with it like it's clay, then eat it!

That one sounds fun. Of course I am on a diet.

Take equal amounts of peanut butter and marshmallow creme, throw in some graham cracker crumbs (you'll just have to add crumbs in little by little and eyeball it), until you get what you want, and wallah. Play dough your kids can eat, too.

This one sounds cool. I've never tried it before, though. I took it from this website:http://homeschooling.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.bconnex.net/%7Ejarea/kitchen/nonedible.htm
Chow mein noodles
chocolate chips or brick chocolate
Jelly beans
candy coated chocolate eggs
marshmallow chicks
peanut butter
wax paper
paper plates (colored plates optional)
Directions:
Place squares of wax paper onto to individual plates. Put chow mien noodles in a large bowl. If using brick chocolate, break into pieces. Melt chocolate chips or pieces in the microwave, or over low heat on stove, just until melted. Pour melted chocolate over chow mien noodles, mix together to coat.
Place mounds of chocolate/chow mien mixture onto several plates (on top of waxed paper). Have children form the mixtures into nests. Be sure the chocolate has cooled, but don't wait too long or it will harden!

Using peanut butter as an adhesive, "glue" down the jelly beans and candy coated chocolate eggs inside the nest cavity. "Glue" marshmallow chick on the edge of or inside of the nest.

These make fun gifts from kids to their friends, teacher and family members. You can also make these nests at birthday parties as a fun and edible take home party favor.
