Hi, I'll quote these from the Bible, but other proverbs are welcome
OK, for fun,
Proverbs 21:9
"It is better to live in a corner of a roof
Than in a house shared with a contentious woman."
Proverbs 24:3,4
"By wisdom a house is built,
And by understanding it is established;
And by knowledge the rooms are filled
with all precious and pleasant riches."

"Her children rise up and bless her;" I read where Annie Chapman, the christian singer, said that had to be written about a mother with children grown up, cause" my children rise ups and 'ask for breakfast'" :)

Here is a proverb that David quoted to King Saul, that he said was an ancient proverb back then.
I Samuel 24: 13a
"As that old proverb says 'From evil people come evil deeds.' "
