This thread is for you to inform us about ministries you support, and links to them that we might become interested too.
Please note that this is for non-Internet, ie Real World, ministries, so not CARM, Tektonics, AiG, or Infidels.com.

My choices:
Albanian Evangelical Mission (http://www.aemission.org/)
AEM have been working for Albania since 1986. Albania is the size of Belgium and has a population of about 3,300,000. In Europe, it is the one of the poorest countries and has the highest proportion of young people. It is also Europe's only predominantly Moslem country: 70% of the people have a Moslem background. About 10% are Roman Catholic and 20% Orthodox.
Albania was ruled by Communists from 1944 to 1991. In 1967 it claimed to be the world's first atheistic state. All mosques and churches were closed. In June 1991 the Communist government fell and gospel missions were able to re-enter the country. At that time, the only church in Albania had fallen to three members. There has been plenty of growth, although there are problems now as missionaries begin to return home, and are not being replaced. Albania is very much in need of home grown church leadership. Please pray for this small country.
Christian Witness to Israel (http://www.cwi.org.uk/)
Christian Witness to Israel was formed by the amalgamation of two evangelical and interdenominational societies: the International Society for Evangelisation of the Jews (IJS) and the Barbican Mission to the Jews (BMJ). Both were motivated by the fact that "the gospel of Christ ... is the power of God to salvation for every one who believes, for the Jew first..."
During the early part of the nineteenth century various meetings were held in London and Scotland to consider what steps should be taken to reach the Jewish people with the gospel. As a result, a meeting was held in the National Scotch Church, Regent Square, London on 7th November 1842 to form the British Society for the Propagation of the Gospel among the Jews. Those present included the famous Robert Murray M'Cheyne. It was agreed to co-operate with the Church of Scotland's Mission to the Jews. The society later became the International Society for the Evangelisation of the Jews. In 1879 "an agency for gospel work among the Jews conducted by Hebrew Christians" commenced work in the Barbican district of London which, in 1891, became the Barbican Mission to the Jews.
CWI maintains a Reformed witness to the Jewish peoples, and today its ministry extends to Jewish people in Israel, UK, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Bulgaria and the USA. CWI is associated with the Grace and Truth congregation in Israel, pastored by Baruch Maoz, site here (http://www.graceandtruthbulletin.org/) (For those interested, they have sermons in Hebrew!!)Grace and Truth is a Reformed and Baptist church among the Jewish people. We are situated at Rishon Le Tsion in central Israel, just south east of Tel-Aviv, 2O minutes from Tel Aviv and 45 minutes from Jerusalem.
