Interesting stuff, totally dated, but interesting all the more as historical examples of the kind of work done back then.

What do you mean by 'totally dated.'? Do you have more recent dates of the exact same thing that was done above? because history that is found in the past is still history, as far as I can see.

What do you mean by 'totally dated.'? Do you have more recent dates of the exact same thing that was done above? because history that is found in the past is still history, as far as I can see.

The amount, and kind of interpretive moves made in these articles are the features that I refer to as "dated." Also, recall that reliable independent dating methods were not available when these papers were written. Further, there are thousands of recent finds that have expanded our understanding of the materials discussed in the archived papers I read.
